The importance of desk positioning

October 29th, 2008

I was just discussing this with Lisa in my office and we think it’s worth sharing. The importance of where your desk is at at work. Now there are lots of things to take into consideration.  Get a good corner plot and no-one can see your screen leaving you free for facebook, games etc etc.

Get a desk out in the open and your screwed, never truly safe from the prying eyes of your beloved collegues…

Recently though, I’ve discovered a phenemenon in desk arrangment.  The food store…it seems that as my desk is on the end of a collection of three, all the cookies, cakes, lollies, sweets etc get dumped on my desk due to convenience!  Woooo! Initially I thought this was becuase I was the largest of my three local colleagues but it turns out I’m wrong….let’s consider the evidence… Pic 1 and 2

So being chubby has nothing to do with it, it’s all about desk positioning…concrete proof. So, which is the best desk position?

The food store desk, the corner desk or the middle of the office desk…

Who goes?  You decide……lol
