How to stop fluffing your chips and pitches
January 9th, 2009
Fluffing chips and pitches is a common mistake to make and is easily corrected by using a narrow and open stance. Make sure you keep your upper arms touching your chest as you rotate you upper body. This avoids you jabbing at the ball and fluffing it.
Keeping your weight in the right place when chipping is so important to the outcome so make sure your weight is firmly on your left foot and your hands are ahead of the ball at all times, both at address and when swinging. As always, be sure you complete the follow through.
Happy chipping!
