A lot of golfers use their wrists to putt which is one of the worst things you can do. Although you need a light grip, your wrists should be totally locked when putting to stop the club head moving all over the place during your swing. Read more…

If you’re consistently hitting your putts off line then you’re probably setting up wrong which is a really easy thing to fix, try this series of tips and you’ll be putting straight in no time!
Tip 1

Line the ball up with your left eye...
Not setting yourself up properly is one of the most likely things to cause duff putts. Check that you’re doing it right. As you stand over the over the ball at address you should line up with your left eye directly over the top of the golf ball.
You can check this easily by setting up as above, then hold a golf ball up by your left eye and drop it. If you are lined up correctly, the ball should land directly on top of the ball on the floor, if not then you need to make an adjustment. Decent golf tips are difficult to come by so I’m going to start adding a new one every couple of days so you can practice your skills over the winter. All of these tips can be practiced in the range or out on the course.
Try them out while you’re at the range by printing one off and taking it with you, or just look it up on your mobile while you’re there. Remember though, don’t fry your brain by trying too many tips at once, just master each one at a time and you’ll get some real success.
If you’re just starting out in golf, get lessons. It’s so worthwhile and will set you up properly for the future. I was taught by my dad which was great but meant that I instantly copied all his bad habits which still haunt me today.
If you’re an internediate golfer, then you should find these tips extremely helpful. Learn how to draw the ball, fade the ball, swing better, aim better, grip better. Quite simply, everything you need.
If you’re a pro, then leave some comments or maybe write a tip or two for the rest of us so we can enjoy some of your success!
Whoever you are, thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy all the info. RJ

This is why I play the damn game
